Kandahar Condominiums, on the mountainside overlooking Taos Ski Valley, offers the best in year-round Taos Ski Valley lodging and amenities. Avid skiers and snowboarders, fishermen, hikers and bikers alike find this Alpine-like area a refuge from their every day world all year long.
Each of Kandahar’s condominium units features 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a fully equipped, full-size kitchen. The wood-burning fireplace can be used year-round, whether there is snow on the ground or just a cool summer night breeze. If you need to stay plugged in, we offer satellite television and wireless internet.
Our lodging accommodations vary from condo to condo. Whether you need a king-size bed or bunk beds, or trundle beds for the kids, every Kandahar vacation condo accommodates six comfortably with an array of amenities.
Each of our condos has a large private balcony overlooking Taos Ski Valley. Outdoor grills are strategically located to provide all guests with quick and easy access for their outside barbecues.
The Kandahar has an exercise room.
Kandahar is a ski-in, ski-out facility. All you need to do is ski down the hill for your lift up the mountain. And we are located just up the hill from the Children’s Ski School. From several of our condos you can watch the kids learn to ski!
We all love pets here at the Kandahar, but we are a pet-free facility, and smoking is not permitted.
Since we are on the side of the mountain, we offer complementary shuttle service for check-in and check-out from 8am-6pm to and from the parking lot below, and if you are driving up, please remember it is best to reserve a four-wheel drive vehicle for your trip. Requires 48 hours notice.
All Kandahar units are fully furnished down to the linens, paper products and in-room coffee. Stop in Taos on your way up to stock up on food and drink. Or for anything you may have forgotten, our village convenience store has a variety of items. Housekeeping services at the Kandahar are offered for an additional fee.
All condominium lodging includes bedding, towels, paper products, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bar soap. However, we do not provide personal hygiene products such as toothpaste.
